Passionate About Hospitality

My name is Joan Valle, originally from the Philippines and currently based in the Maldives. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from the University of Northern Philippines, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.

My academic background and international hospitality experience have shaped me into a dedicated professional with strong skills in guest relations, front office operations, administration, and leadership.

I started my career as an Administrative Assistant in a local government tourism office in the Philippines, gaining experience in documentation, event coordination, reporting, and tourism program support.

I later pursued international hospitality opportunities, joining AC Hotel Dayton, a Marriott-branded hotel in the United States, as a Front Desk Agent. Through dedication and strong performance, I was promoted to Front Office Supervisor, where I led front desk operations, supported team members, managed guest concerns, and maintained service excellence.

I continued my hospitality journey at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), where I enhanced my luxury service skills and gained experience delivering personalized guest experiences in a multicultural environment.

Currently, I am a Front Office Executive at JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, managing front office operations and administrative tasks, including guest services, reservations, communications, reporting, and coordination with various departments.

With professional experience across the Philippines, the United States, Dubai, and the Maldives, I have developed strong adaptability, leadership, and customer service skills. I am passionate about hospitality, continuous growth, and creating exceptional experiences while contributing to organizations that value excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.
